How much is to Much?

At present the war in IRAQ cost $720 million a day just for the first four years. For this I think that the flag should be at half mast. It would be a thank you to all the soldiers that are lost everyday. Think about how this money could have been spent. Think about what the war has done for America. Has anything good come from this war? What does this say about Americans?
Just think all this money could have been put toward make this country safer. I wouldn't have to fear losing my brother to this war. He's going back and I don't know what to think anymore. What if he never gets to have children and a family? What if he never gets to go back to college? What if in the end I lose my brother and nothing is gained from the lose of his life? I need to know that after this war is over every life that has been lost and changed by this war has meaning. I need to know that America will stay to help those that are left behind in Iraq when this is over.
This country is having a had time learning from past mistakes. Iraq has been punished far to much for something they couldn't control. There are people without homes, jobs, food, safe, shelter, clothes, proper health care, medications, and hope in our own country. The USA would rather spend 500,000 per minute on the Iraq war. Think about where that money could have gone to make this country safe from the inside out instead of going just to the outside.
