Is it really possible to care to much?

I love life. For it's that simple. People are o stuck in the now. I worried about the future. The world has a strage culture. 3300 abortions happen every day. That's a lot of people. I'm a believer in WASTED ENERGY = WASTED LIFE. Why have sex if the child has to die for your choice. Is it the childs fault? I don't think that abortions should be illegal. I think that culture has to be changed so that people aren't just having sex for the sake of having sex.
The main reason why abortion should always be legal is because there will always be rape. It would ever be fare to make a women carry that child when she never had a choice herself.
Our culture needs to change. Things can't be about making the bigger pay check. Things can't be about staying with someone just to be with someone. Things can't be about aking more food than you can eat becaue you feel like it. Things can't be about punishing those that try harder just because we're afraid of them. Things can't be about poping a pill for slight pain. Things can't be about forces one cultures ways on another. Things shouldn't be about not voting and than complaining about the president. Things shouldn't be about living off wellfare when your able to work and than complaining about illegal foriegners taking our jobs. Things shouldn't be about getting drunk evry night until the one night we're driving and someone has to die. Things can't ever be about "It has nothing to do with me" people. Sorry but it does.
Life should always matter. People need to right for their right to live. I've been told I think to much, I'm depressing, I try to hard, I over complicate things, I need to relax, I need to take a joke, I shouldn't be so serious, and (this ones my all time favorite) there need to be more people like you. I make people feel guilty for the way that they live most of the time. I don't mean to do this, really. If I do then don't listen to me. I say to people that this is my way of living I don't mind if you don't like it and that you want to live your way. There is something else I believe. If it works for you and it doesn't hurt anyone(including yourself) then all the power to you.
I believe in global warming. This is what I usually say to people who haven't taken the time to learn about the problem or those that don't believe it's real.
Me: Did you know that polar bears are drownding?
Response: No
Me: Want to know why?
Response: Sure
Me: They can't swim for ever.
Response: Oh
Me: Do see any glaciers?
Response: No
Me: Wnat to know why?
Response: Sure
Me: They've melted.
Response: What does that have to do with me?
Me: EXACTLY
So what do you think? Do I care too much? Do I want to much from people? Should I jump up and down screaming at the top of my lungs "why don't you care"? Does it even matter when I only one person? Am I too serious? Are my efforts for nothing? Are you going to try and care a little more?

i don't think you care too much - you actually sound allot like a friend of mine. she cares allot and wants to make a difference. this is what i tell her ” sweetie, you're going to change the world i can feel it. but only if you learn when to listen and when to talk . if you keep yelling like that pretty soon even you'll stop listening.” just be sure to balance activism with taking the time to listen to both sides and all the facts. think before you speak and speak before you die.
also i definitely agree with you that our culture needs to change. and it will- we just have to be patient and able to recognize the little victories.
blessings,kali
I think it was Thoreau who said, “The only remedy for love is to love more.” I think the same holds true for care.
